「 What is Tsunagite piano support? 」

つなぎて

Tsunagite is a project started by Minami Urawa Baptist Church, and is mainly staffed by the minister. We want to connect with people who need even just a little practical work done, and create together a community that people feel safe in. 10 % of all our profits go to the local community.
Rather than building a business-to-customer relationship, we consider ourselves as part of a team in the community and we are interested in lending a helping hand when someone is in need. Tsunagite literally means ‘holding hands’ and we aim to do just that. Our new additional service, the Piano Support, also aims to be a helping hand.

「 How do you differ with other piano services? 」

Germany is known for its prestigious pianos such as Steinway, Boesendorfer and Bechstein. Our piano master who has lived in Germany since the age of 15, is able to provide refined piano service based upon his experience and skills he achieved while living there. He is well experienced in all types of pianos, in particular German ones. Please feel free to contact us for consultation.
As a social enterprise, Tsunagite aims to make a contribution to the community through this piano service.

「 What is a master’s qualification? 」

The German term ‘meister’ translates into ‘master’ and is given as a title to someone who is skilled or prominent in a specified area of activity. One cannot achieve this qualification by simply studying the skills and graduating from a school, but must pass a national examination. Traditionally, a qualified meister is entitled to open their own business, own their own workshop and to train apprentices. After the establishment of the EU however, the handling of the meister qualification shifted, as it no longer is mandatory to have such qualifications to start a business. Nonetheless, it still remains an honourable entitlement which is much respected, and is a trustworthy method of passing German skills to the next generation.
